Popular K-pop artist Jennie has found herself at the center of a plagiarism controversy ahead of the release of her upcoming song 'LIKE JENNIE', which is set to drop on March 7. On Tuesday, Jennie released a teaser for the song, but many social media users were quick to notice similarities between her track and Alia Bhatt's Rani theme song from Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.

Netizens took to the comment section of Jennie’s teaser to point out how the melody resembled the theme song used to introduce Alia Bhatt’s character, Rani, in the Bollywood film. Many accused Jennie of copying the theme song and expressed their disappointment over the alleged plagiarism.

While neither Jennie nor her team has responded to the allegations yet, the controversy has sparked a heated debate among fans of K-pop and Bollywood. Some users believe the similarity could be a coincidence, while others demand clarification from Jennie’s production team.
