Washington [US], August 25 : Actor Blake Lively renowned for roles in 'The Age of Adaline', 'The Shallows', 'It Ends with Us', and others, is celebrating her birthday today, August 25. She made her day special by spending a relaxing time with her husband Ryan Reynolds in Rhode Island, reported People.

Lively and Reynolds, 47, shared an intimate moment while 'Deadpool & Wolverine' actor was seen wearing dark sunglasses, a baseball hat, and a button-down shirt. Lively wore an orange halter top and styled her hair in a bun.

Swift and Lively have been longtime friends, and were first spotted hanging out together nearly 10 years ago. The "Karma" singer even brought Lively with her as she cheered on Kelce at the 2024 Super Bowl in February.

Meanwhile, Lively and Reynolds have had a very busy few weeks. This month's releases of It Ends with Us and Deadpool & Wolverine marked the first time in over 30 years that a married couple's movie topped the box office at the same time. The last time a pair enjoyed box office success was in 1990, when Bruce Willis and Demi Moore appeared in Die Hard 2 and Ghost.

It Ends with Us took over 50 million dollars in its first weekend, while Deadpool & Wolverine earned 54.2 million dollars.

Reynolds earlier joked that their films' box office competitiveness this month was "the only time in my life I've ever dreamt of coming in second."

"No, I think that's the sign of a good relationship," he added, before sharing details about his relationship with Lively. "It's always been the one kind of constant with Blake and I: We really root for each other."

Lively earlier revealed during the New York City premiere of 'It End with Us' that Reynolds wrote the movie's "iconic rooftop scene."

She added of her husband at the time, "We help each other. He works on everything I do; I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his." reported People.
