Celebrity cooking show Celebrity Master Chef has come to end as Anupamaa fame Gaurav Khanna bags the first prize for season 1. He defeated Nikki Tamboli and won trophy and cash prize.  Tough Competitor Nikki Tamboli became the first runner-up, while Tejasswi Prakash came third.

Gaurav is going home with Rs 20 lakh, the MasterChef trophy, and the prestigious coat. His recent honey-dripping dessert, served in a wine glass, wowed the judges. While social media users noted its similarity to a dessert by Swiss chef Dives Josh, which Josh had previously shared on Instagram, Gaurav received support with many deeming it an inspired dish rather than a direct copy.

Judges Farah Khan, Sanjeev Kapoor, and Ranveer Brar crowned Gaurav Khanna as the winner of first season
