Vicky Kaushal’s historical action film Chhaava has surpassed the Rs 100 crore milestone at the box office. The Laxman Utekar directorial witnessed a major surge on its third day, earning Rs 48.5 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Released on February 14, the film has amassed Rs 116.5 crore in the domestic market, with an overall Hindi occupancy of 62.48% on its first Sunday.

Based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Confederacy, Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale. Fans are also praising the performances of Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite, Diana Penty as Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai.

The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna and is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
