'Chhaava' Star Vicky Kaushal Visits Raigad Fort on Shiv Jayanti, Pays Tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (See Pics)

Maharashtra is celebrating the Jayanti (Birth Anniversary) of the legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and actor Vicky Kaushal, who is currently in the spotlight for his recently released film 'Chhaava', visited Raigad Fort today to pay his respects. His The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Shivaji Maharaj.

On this special occasion, Vicky Kaushal offered his respects at the tomb of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Thousands of Shiv devotees and fans gathered at Raigad to witness his visit. He was welcomed with the traditional beats of drums and tashas, creating a grand atmosphere.

Yesterday, Vicky announced his plan to visit Raigad on Shiv Jayanti to pay tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Keeping his promise, he arrived at Pachad this morning and took the ropeway to reach the fort. Once he reached the top, he visited the statue of Shivaji Maharaj in Meghdambari and honored the great Maratha warrior.

Accompanying him were Maharashtra’s Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare, director Laxman Utekar, and the Chhaava team. Vicky Kaushal, who portrays Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava, was met with an overwhelming response from thousands of fans and devotees present at the fort. The momentous occasion was further honored with a police salute at Raigad Fort.
