Contestants from previous years of Big Boss house are all set to enter the house for the 2020 season. These include Rakhi Sawant, Manu Punjabi, Vikas Gupta, Rahul Mahajan, Kashmera Shah and Arshi Khan. Rakhi and Kashmera were contestants in the first season of the show, Rahul was seen in the second season, Manu Punjabi was a part of Bigg Boss 10, while Vikas Gupta and Arshi Khan were housemates in the eleventh season of the show hosted by Salman Khan.
Soon after Salman broke the news of the finale being just a week away, the channel announced many more surprises in the ongoing season. It now announced that Rakhi, Rahul, Kashmira Shah, Arshi Khan, Manu Punjabi and Vikas Gupta would enter the house to make the game more challenging for the contestants. Colors TV shared the teaser and captioned it as, "#BiggBoss ki history mein nahi dekha hoga aapne aisa twist! Ek se badh kar ek khiladi karenge ghar mein enter aur kar denge sadasyon ki jeet ka safar aur bhi challenging! Kya aap taiyaar hain ek tehelke bhara season dekhne ko (sic)."
