Bollywood actress and dancer Daisy Shah has recounted a shocking and disturbing experience from the early days of her career. She made a sensational revelation, stating that a director from the South Indian film industry touched her inappropriately during a casting meeting.
In an interview with the Free Press Journal, Daisy Shah said, "This incident took place in Mumbai. I had gone to meet a director, along with a few other girls, for an audition for a South Indian film. The director was meeting each girl individually. He touched me inappropriately and held my hand—something I did not like at all. I do not like being touched by anyone, whether it is a man or a woman. This behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I never contacted him again."
This bitter experience taught Daisy a significant lesson regarding personal safety. She stated that such incidents made her realize that one should never go alone when meeting someone for a new work opportunity. She also noted that having to face such situations early in her career made her more vigilant.
This incident taught her that one's own safety lies in one's own hands. Daisy addressed criticism about her association with Salman Khan, stating that while he helped her, people often dismiss her hard work, a notion that no longer bothers her.
