Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Monday said Deepika Padukone should get herself well-versed with the political affairs in the country before taking any big decisions. The Yoga Guru went on to say that, Deepika should appoint people like him as her advisors who will guide when it comes to vital issues. The Chhapaak actress has been drawing a lot of flak for expressing her solidarity with the students on the JNU campus in New Delhi.

During his interaction with media personnel in Indore, Baba Ramdev said, "Deepika's efficiency as an actor is a different ball game. However, she should first study social, political and cultural issues and understand more about our country. After acquiring this knowledge, she should take big decisions," I feel that she needs an advisor like Swami  Ramdev for the right piece of advice," he quipped.

Deepika's latest release which is helmed by Meghna Gulzar has opened to positive reviews from the audience. The movie which also stars Vikrant Massey is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. The movie clased with Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior at the box-office. The film was also made tax-free in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and the Samajwadi Party  also hosted a special screening of the film for their workers in Lucknow.
