The mysterious death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has taken a new turn after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigation in the drugs angle found some high-profile celebs connected with it. After Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor's name, actress Deepika Padukone happens to be next on NCB radar. Deepika has come on the NCB's radar after an explosive WhatsApp conversation dating October 2018 between the actress and her manager surfaced on social media. In the conversation, she is purportedly asking for hash and wants her manager to bring it to posh Mumbai club called Koko, where she was partying.
In the chats, Deepika is seen asking for 'Maal' and referring to Hash and weed from Karishma Prakash of Kwan Talent Management Company. Incidentally, on the same day while chatting Karishma asked the actress when will she reach Koko, to which Deepika replied by saying around 11.30-12. According to sources, that 2017 party at club Koko has come under the lens of the investigative agencies and the NCB is expected to examine the footage from the party. Not only Deepika, but Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra, and Aditya Roy Kapur also attended this party that was held the high-end restaurant situated at Lower Parel in Mumbai. The agency is likely to investigate the footage of the video for further reference. The NCB has reportedly summoned Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash in connection with the same. However, Prakash has urged for exemption from the probe till September 25 owing to ill health. According to reports, Deepika Padukone will also be summoned by the NCB in connection with the same angle. She is currently in Goa for the shoot of her next movie with Shakun Batra. Reportedly, she has decided to leave Goa and also sought help from her legal team after this particular incident happened.
