Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 29 : Dharamshala will soon witness a grand music festival.

It will be a convergence of music and culture on the lines of international festivals like tomorrow land and Sunburn and will take place at the Dharamshala Police Ground.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met Gurjot Singh the founder of BeingU, producer of famous shows like Kapil Sharma show and the organiser of the festival, and took details of the event and assured to provide all support for it.

He also took to his official X account and extended his support to the event.

"...Such festivals in Himachal Pradesh will boost the local economy by attracting large number of tourists," he wrote.

Gurjot Singh apprised the Chief Minister that the annual event would be organised in collaboration with famous Warner Music and it aims to blend global music, sustainability, wellness, and the region's rich cultural heritage offering world-class performances, environmental workshops, retreats, and cultural exhibitions.

Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor (Innovation, Digital Technology & Governance) to Chief Minister was also present on this occasion.

Meanwhile, audience is waiting for the new edition of Dharamshala International Film Festival. Payal Kapadia's award-winning film 'All We Imagine As Light' will kick off the 13th edition, which will run from November 7-10 in Dharamshala.

The film follows Prabha, a troubled nurse who receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband, and Anu, her young roommate seeking intimacy with her boyfriend. A trip to a beach town allows them to confront their desires. The film stars Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, and Hridhu Haroon, all hailing from Kerala.Earlier this year, the film' won the prestigious Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival.
