Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller “Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2),” starring Ranveer Singh, continued its strong box office run despite a drop on its first Monday, collecting Rs 65 crore on Day 5 (Monday, March 23, 2026), according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The sequel, released on March 19, opened to massive numbers and maintained momentum through the weekend. Including paid previews on March 18, the film earned Rs 43 crore, followed by Rs 102.55 crore on its opening day. Collections stood at Rs 80.72 crore on day two, before surging to Rs 113 crore on Saturday and Rs 114.85 crore on Sunday.

With these latest figures, the film’s total India net collection stands at Rs 519.12 crore, while the gross domestic total has reached Rs 619.76 crore. Overseas earnings of Rs 210 crore have pushed its worldwide gross to Rs 829.76 crore,

The film was released in five languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. On Monday, the Hindi version contributed Rs 60 crore, followed by Rs 3.50 crore from Telugu, Rs 1.20 crore from Tamil, and Rs 0.15 crore each from Kannada and Malayalam versions.

The film recorded an overall occupancy of 44.1% on day five across 20,382 shows, compared to 79.7% on Sunday, 81.6% on Saturday, 62.6% on Friday and 67.8% on its opening day. Paid previews had earlier registered 64.8% occupancy across 11,294 shows.

Despite the dip, the film has already emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters, outperforming the opening weekend collections of “Pushpa 2: The Rule.”

The sequel follows the success of the first installment, released in December 2025, which emerged as one of the year’s biggest hits. According to reports, the original film earned Rs 1,056.62 crore in India and Rs 293.03 crore overseas, taking its worldwide total to Rs 1,349.65 crore.

“Dhurandhar: The Revenge” continues the story of Hamza Ali Mazari, played by Ranveer Singh in a dual role. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera, while Yami Gautam makes a cameo appearance.
