Heropanti actress Kriti Sanon was one of the few Bollywood stars who was quite close to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Kriti who received a lot of flak for her silence on the 34-year old actor's death has finally spoken up about why she kept to herself after, Sushant's death. In a chat with Times Of India, Kriti shared that she felt people had stopped being sensitive and hence, she wanted to keep her feelings to herself. "At one point, there was so much noise around that I didn’t want to be a part of it. It reached a point where people stopped being sensitive, and there was too much negativity around. I didn’t want to be a part of that negativity." She even said that what she felt, she knew and she did not feel the need to talk to anyone. Further, she added that one can always use social media to express themselves and that they don't need to talk out loud always about it.
The star told TOI, "Also, what you want to say, you can always say it on social media. You can write and express yourself instead of talking out loud." After Sushant passed away, the actress took her time and then shared photos with him with a heart-wrenching note. Kriti and Sushant were rumoured to be dating during the making of Raabta. She was among the few Bollywood personalities to attend his funeral. She later posted messages on social media after watching his final film, Dil Bechara, and on his birth anniversary. Kriti also penned a note, praying so that the truth comes out with respect to the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Kriti in her emotional note, mentioned how the late actor's case can be investigated without any political agendas and in such a way that the truth if finally revealed. This according to the actress will provide justice to the late star Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. Kriti Sanon also wrote, how it is high time that the late actor rests in peace. On the work front, Kriti recently signed, Prabhas, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush. She is also a part of Tiger Shroff starrer Ganapath. Kriti will be teaming up with Tiger after a while. She had even made her debut with him in Heropanti. Ganapath will be helmed by Vikas Bahl. Besides this, Kriti also is a part of Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey with Jacqueline Fernandez. It is helmed by Farhad Samji and will release on January 26, 2022.
