After Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh has taken up the baton of Don as he will lead the third installment of the franchise, Don 3. A few months ago, Farhan Akhtar announced the film, following its announcement, several reports suggested that the film was delayed and would not commence as scheduled.

However, according to India Today's report, the filmmaker and producer dismissed these speculations.  Akhtar confirmed that 'Don 3' is on track. When asked if he was avoiding questions about the film, he responded, “I am not dodging any questions. Don 3 is starting this year, and 120 Bahadur will release at the end of the year.”  

Farhan Akhtar is directing Don 3, with Ranveer Singh in the lead role, while Kiara Advani will play the female lead.  

Talking about the much-awaited multi-starrer film 'Jee Le Zaraa', which was announced with Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. Responding to this, Farhan stated, “Many dates have to be coordinated. That’s perhaps for another time.”
