The death of Sushant Singh Rajput has clearly divided the Bollywood industry wherein the nepotism debate has once again hit the headlines. Fans have been calling out industry biggies like  Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali for not supporting talented and outsiders from the industry. Meanwhile,  a lawyer filed a criminal complaint against 8 people including Karan, Salman, Ekta and Sanjay in a local court regarding the actor’s death. Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has alleged people have forced the ‘Chhichhore’ actor to commit suicide.

Now reacting to the same, Ekta has taken to her Instagram account and said that she is upset at ‘how convoluted theories can be’. Her post read, “Thanku for the case for not casting sushi....when Actually I LAUNCHED HIM. I’m beyond upset at how convoluted theories can b! Pls@let family n frns mourn in peace! Truth shall@prevail. CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!” The Kedarnath actor was found hanging in his residence on June 14th. After the post-mortem it was revealed that Sushant died of asphyxia due to hanging, confirming that he committed suicide. The 34-year old was last seen in ‘Chhichhore’. The 2019 release was a huge hit at the box office. Sushant’s next release was ‘Dil Bechara’, which was the Hindi remake of hit Hollywood film ‘The Fault in Our Stars’
