Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 26 : The reunion of 'The Devil Wears Prada' cast has brought back fun memories from the hit film, and this time it was Emily Blunt who shared an interesting story about working with Meryl Streep.

According to PEOPLE magazine, during an exclusive SiriusXM Front Row chat hosted by Andy Cohen, Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci came together to talk about the film and its sequel.

When Cohen asked if Meryl Streep was intimidating to work with, Blunt admitted that she was nervous around the Oscar-winning actress during the first film.

"I mean, on the first one, I was quite scared because I feel like you were in a zone," Blunt said to Streep as per PEOPLE.

Streep quickly agreed and replied, "Oh, yeah. I was in that zone."

Blunt then joked that Streep was fully in character as Miranda Priestly, the strict editor-in-chief of Runway Magazine.

"She was in a Miranda zone," Blunt said.

She added that while Streep was not unapproachable, she stayed serious during filming and did not break character easily.

"Not impenetrable, but we could come up and tell you a funny story, but you wouldn't do your extraordinary laugh that I normally heard," Blunt shared.

When asked if it was difficult to stay "method" during the role, Streep simply replied, "No."

The veteran actress then explained how she created the powerful screen presence of Miranda Priestly.

"The first three days I went and hung around the camera with the director, you know, and then we'd go on to do the scene and I'd go, you know, this and they'd go... it was just like a remove. A slight remove. The authority, the thing," Streep said.

She also shared that keeping some distance from the cast made her feel more like the boss on screen.

"She was saying the same thing. You know, they kind of don't want you at the cast party, right? It's like you have to have just a little bit of a barrier to feel like the boss and to make it, I don't know what it was, but it worked. When I went back and was miserable in my trailer and heard them all in the makeup trailer and they're all, I could hear from far away, they're all having a great time, you know," Streep said.

The upcoming sequel to 'The Devil Wears Prada' is set to release in theatres on May 1. The story will follow Miranda Priestly as she deals with the changing world of magazine publishing and faces Emily Blunt's character, who is now a powerful executive in the luxury business.
