Salman Khan and Aditya Chopra's espionage thriller Tiger 3 is one of the most eagerly awaited films. It was also reported Emraan Hashmi was roped in to star as the villain in the film. Now as per a Pinkvilla report, Hashmi will reportedly play the role of Pakistani ISI agent in the Maneesh Sharma directorial. Emraan’s character is said to be street smart, badass with all traits that a suave agent commands, who gets into an ideological battle with Tiger. Since the third installment is touted to be made on a massive scale with a reported budget of Rs. 350 crores, the shooting will reportedly resume mid-June.
Aditya Chopra has booked ground to recreate a Western country. The plan is to do a marathon schedule abroad and they might even revisit some places that were explored in Ek Tha Tiger. Recently, the set was affected by the cyclone which hit Mumbai last week. The makers of Tiger 3 had created a set along the lines of a Dubai market at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon. As per reports, BN Tiwari, president, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) told a daily that there has been mass destruction of sets but no loss of lives. Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan also had a huge football stadium set erected in Mumbai's Film City. It faced huge losses as the set has been damaged by the cyclone.
