At a time when AI is rapidly reshaping the creative landscape, singer-songwriter Anuv Jain shared a heartfelt and thought-provoking perspective during a recent Apple event. Opening up about how art is perceived, he said, “I feel art works in a way that when there’s a machine behind it, you do enjoy it, but when there’s a human behind it, that man-made element matters a lot more.”

Highlighting the emotional depth that human creators bring, he added, “Maybe I’m a bit too optimistic, but I believe people still want something like that something more real.” Addressing the growing capabilities of AI, Anuv didn’t shy away from acknowledging its potential. However, he drew a clear line between technical brilliance and emotional truth. “Even if AI surpasses us maybe writing better lyrics than me I feel people would still want that real story, those real lyrics.”

His words strike a chord in an industry increasingly influenced by technology, serving as a reminder that while machines can enhance creativity, they cannot replace lived experiences. For Anuv Jain, art isn’t just about how well something is made it’s about how deeply it is felt.
