Veteran Bollywood choreographer and MasterChef host Farah Khan is facing legal trouble due to a controversial remark made on the show. A case has been filed against her for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments by saying, "Holi is a festival of the Chhapri people."

Vikas Phatak, known as Hindustani Bhau and a former Bigg Boss 13 contestant, lodged a complaint against Khan, demanding strict action for her offensive statement about a religious festival. The complaint was registered at Khar police station in Mumbai on February 21, with lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh representing Phatak.

Farah's comments have ignited outrage on social media, with many condemning her statement. According to Deshmukh, his client finds the remark both insulting and offensive, emphasizing that it is inappropriate to use the term "Chhapri" in reference to a holy festival.
