After staying together for 15 long years, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have announced their divorce. The two released an official statement on Saturday morning. This is Aamir's second marriage as he was earlier married to Reena Dutta. Later, he fell in love with Kiran and the two decided to tie the knot on December 28, 2005. While they dubbed their divorce “not as an end, but as the start of a new journey,” Twitter is trending ‘Fatima’ in relation to the news. After the success of ‘Dangal’, when Fatima signed ‘Thugs of Hindostan' with Aamir, rumours of a romance between the two started doing the rounds. Soon after, the rumour mills were abuzz with reports of Aamir and Fatima’s romance, and it was also rumoured that Kiran was quite upset with everything. You feel like telling that person, ‘Ask me, I’ll give you an answer’. It disturbs me because I don’t want people to assume wrong things. But I’ve learnt to ignore it.
