Ashley Mattingly, known for being the former Playmate of Playboy magazine, committed suicide last week. The 33-year-old model was found dead in her house in Austin, Texas on last Thursday, along with a suicide note, her brother William Mattingly and sister Christy told People. "We learned late Thursday night that it is believed that our dear sister with a larger-than-life personality took her own life," Playboy Miss March 2011's brother William said in his statement.

In 2012, Ashley was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend Lane Garrison. She accused the “Prison Break” star of slapping her. He denied hurting her, but pleaded no contest to misdemeanor domestic battery.A few years later, in 2016, Mattingly was charged with DUI after she drove a golf cart into four parked cars. Ashley’s twin brother Billy Mattingly paid tribute to her in a Facebook post which described her as a ‘rock star’ and ‘beauty queen’.The investigation into Ashley’s death is still ongoing, and her siblings have not yet been able to read her note.
