Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 28 : Filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who is celebrating his birthday today June 28, looked back at his journey as a director and expressed gratitude for all the love and respect he received from the audience for his movies.

He said storytelling is a craft that binds many and crosses all boundaries. According to him, it is a language that can reach out to millions and touch the souls. "Storytelling is the language that binds us all, transcending boundaries and captivating souls."

While thanking his fans and the audience for liking his films, he added, "On my birthday, I stand grateful for the unwavering love and support, and I promise to continue weaving tales that resonate with the hearts of cinephiles across the globe."

The ace director is known for giving several successful films including 'Tanu Weds Manu', 'Raanjhanaa', 'Tanu Weds Manu: Returns', 'Zero', 'Atrangi Re', among others.

Up next, he has the Dhanush-starrer 'Tere Ishk Mein' in the pipeline. Rai is also producing the Marathi film 'Jhimma 2' and the sequel of 'Haseen Dilruba, Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba'.
