YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav was granted bail by a Gurugram court on Saturday, following his arrest on March 17 in connection with a case under the Wild Life Protection Act 1972. This development comes after spending six days in jail, with his first bail being granted by the Gautam Buddha Nagar District Court on Friday.

According to reports, Yadav was released on bail by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Jaihind Kumar Singh, who instructed him to furnish a bail bond worth Rs 50,000.

The case against Yadav and five others includes charges under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. Upon arrest, Yadav was sent to 14 days of judicial custody and was interrogated by the police.

The legal saga began last year when the Noida Police, acting on a complaint from People For Animals (PFA) organization, raided a banquet hall in Sector 51 and arrested five individuals. The PFA's FIR named Elvish and accused him of organizing rave parties where foreigners were invited and poisonous snakes were arranged.

Notably, Noida Police imposed 29 NDPS Act charges on Elvish Yadav, reserved for cases involving drug-related conspiracies such as buying and selling drugs. It's crucial to note that bail is often difficult to obtain for those charged under this act.

During the raid, nine venomous snakes were recovered. Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, removing venom glands from snakes is punishable, with offenders facing up to seven years in jail.
