Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has urged government authorities to take strict action against the culprits responsible for the brutal killing of the pregnant elephant in Kerala. Taking to his Twitter Akshay wrote, “Maybe animals are less wild and humans less human. What happened with that #elephant is heartbreaking, inhumane and unacceptable! Strict action should be taken against the culprits. #AllLivesMatter.”

A number of Bollywood celebs right from Anushka Sharma to Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff expressed their displeasure over the shocking incident. The news broke when A forest official Mohan Krishnan, penned an emotional note on his Facebook page. He narrating the events that lead to the death of the elephant. A number of Mollywood celebs including Prithviraj Sukumaran and Unni Mukundan condoled the gruesome act. Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan assured that strict action will be taken against the perpetrators.  The forest minister of Kerala, K, Raju said an investigation of the case is being carried out by the forest department.
