Addressing this buzz, producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala spoke to Bollywood Hungama about the possibility of the film’s re-release. He said, "I cannot take this decision alone. While I am the legal owner of the film, morally, Akshay, Pareshji, and Sunil also have equal rights over it. So, we will decide this together."
Interestingly, Nadiadwala laughed while answering, hinting that a re-release might indeed be on the horizon. He also expressed confidence that if 'Hera Pheri' returns to cinemas, it will once again create a sensation at the box office.
Following 'Hera Pheri', its sequel 'Phir Hera Pheri' (2006) was equally loved by audiences. Even today, memes and dialogues from the films continue to go viral, proving the franchise’s enduring popularity. Now, fans have more reason to rejoice, as 'Hera Pheri 3' is officially in the works, with shooting set to begin in the coming months.
