In major breakthrough in developing an antibody to the novel coronavirus Israel's Defence Minister Naftali Bennett confirmed that the country's researchers have found major success for the coronavirus vaccine. After the news emerged online Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is hoping that the news is true. Taking to his Twitter handle, the actor shared the news of a possible antidote in the works and said, “Hope this is true.”According to reports, Israel has isolated a key coronavirus antibody at its main biological research laboratory, the Israeli defence minister said on Monday, calling the step a "significant breakthrough" toward a possible treatment for the COVID-19 pandemic.

An avid social media user Varun Dhawan is actively doing his bit to not only spread awareness about the coronavirus pandemic but has also been helping the needy during the global crisis. The 'Kalank' star contributed a sum of Rs 30 lakh to PM Narendra Modi’s CARES fund to fight coronavirus. The Student of the Year actor also contributed a sum of Rs 25 lakh to the Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund. On his 33rd birthday, Varun donated money for five lakh daily wage workers of the film and television industry. Sharing a video message on Twitter, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) chief advisor Ashoke Pandit thanked the actor for his gesture. The actor has also provided free meals for doctors and healthcare staff who are leading the nation's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
