Hrithik Roshan on Jamia violence: I salute worlds youngest democracy

Many students from different universities across the country have condemned the "brutal police violence unleashed" against the students at Jamia Millia Islamia University and Aligarh Muslim University during Sunday's protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019.

Along with them, Bollywood actors also openly supported the students of Jamia. Recently, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has also tweeted about this issue, which is grabbing a lot of attention on social media.

In his tweet, Hrithik wrote, "As a parent and a citizen of india , I am deeply saddened by the unrest across various educational institutions of our country. I hope and pray for peace to return as soon as possible. Great teachers learn from their students. I salute the worlds youngest democracy."

While he supported the students through his tweet, he also wished for peace should be maintained back in all educational institutions of the country. People are reacting on this tweet by Hrithik Roshan. 

Apart from Hrithik Roshan many Bollywood actors like Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha, Alia Bhatt, Huma Qureshi, Siddharth Malhotra, Pulkit Samrat and Zeeshan Ayub have extended their support to the students of Jamia and other institutions of the country.
