Washington DC [US], February 22 : The spin-off American legal drama television series Suits, 'Suits: LA,' is set to premiere on February 23. The characters from the original series will appear in the spin-off, including Gabriel Macht, who played Harvey Spector in the show, reported Variety.
Gabriel Macht is set for a three-episode stint as Harvey Specter. As per Variety, he has not yet filmed his scenes. The actor said that he returned for the spin-off because of his fans.
"It was a 'let me think about it.' Let me see if it makes sense for where I'm at creatively. What other creative things are going on and what is the story? What are the stories that we're telling? I did think about the fans, and that was ultimately the reason I turned around and said, 'You know what? I think it's maybe the right thing. I wanted to support the launch of this show," said Gabriel Macht as quoted by Variety.
While sharing the details about his role in the series, the actor said, "I can tell you that there's some flashbacks. There's a relationship that Harvey and Ted had in the D.A.'s office. And I can tell you that they're cut from the same [cloth], and they have a deep friendship. They look out for each other," as quoted by Variety.
Following the success of the original 'Suits,' which gained popularity as a streaming hit, NBC's decision to order 'Suits: LA' underscores the continued interest in the franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
