Special preparations have been made for IIFA 2025, the most prestigious award ceremony in Indian cinema. The invitation box for the grand event has been designed in a royal style. The invitation for IIFA is a unique blend of a modern and refined version of Rajasthani traditions. The invitation box, weighing 7 kg, is adorned with Barmeri cloth and other unique factors from Rajasthani art and gives a glimpse into the art and artisans of the state. This has been designed by Chandra Prakash Goyal and Ashish Goyal of 'Hamporio by Friends.

This father-son duo, representing the third generation in the field of card designing, has created an invitation that matches the grandeur of IIFA. Reading the intricate details of the card takes about 8-10 minutes. These specially crafted invitations are reserved for VVIP and VIP guests attending the grand event in Jaipur.

Designed to commemorate IIFA’s 25th anniversary, the invitation for the Bollywood extravaganza, scheduled for March 8 and 9 in the Pink City, was chosen from four sample designs. Every detail has been meticulously crafted, with the entire design process taking 15 days.

Ashish Goyal of 'Hamporio by Friends' said, "The invitation card has a lot of specialities. IIFA invitation should be unique. IIFA gave us this task and we achieved this. We made it as a combination of modern and refined version of Rajasthani traditions. It took us 15-20 days to design this and another 8-10 days to make this."

The glass design inside the VVIP card features Jaipur’s historic landmarks, including Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall, Jharokhas, and the World Trade Park. Upon opening, the official IIFA logo and 25th-anniversary monogram are prominently displayed, along with a depiction of the silver IIFA trophy and the green carpet. The inner card contains detailed information about the two-day event. Adding a Rajasthani touch, the tagline ‘Khama Ghani, Padharo Mhare’ has been inscribed on the card.

The invitation also showcases the Rajasthan Assembly, Birla Mandir, and Statue Circle. To enhance the experience, the box inside the card is infused with a special rose extract, offering guests the fragrance of Rajasthan’s roses. A Makrana marble frame, featuring Kundan Meena gold work and a peacock design, highlights Jaipur’s artistic brilliance. Additionally, two handcrafted lac elephants, symbolizing Rajasthani strength, are included in the invitation.

For VIP guests, a separate version of the invitation has been designed, with around 200 such cards created. While smaller than the VVIP version, the VIP card retains the grandeur of its counterpart. Upon opening, a golden IIFA stage replica and trophy are revealed. As part of the invitation package, Jaipur’s famous blue pottery, including a wall art piece, tray, and mug, is being sent as a special gift.

"At the top, we have worked with Barmeri cloth, we have designed it like a trunk. Stability of studs and the durability is such that you can use it as a gift box after the event," said Ashish Goyal.

"This will be like a souvenir of IIFA for years...Its weight is 7kg...The work on this has been done by hand by all artisans. No machine has been used. All of them have given their best," he further added.

"We have also incorporated blue pottery which is a famous Jaipur art. We wanted to go with 'vocal for local' and wanted to show a glimpse of the artisans of Rajasthan...All the recipients of this card, the celebrities have appreciated it a lot," Goyal added.
