Indian Idol judge Neha Kakkar gives Rs 1 lakh to Shantabai Pawar aka Warrior Aaji

Singer Neha Kakkar has given one lakh rupees to Shantabai Pawar, who became an internet sensation after a video of her performing Lathi Kathi on a street in Pune went viral.

Popular singer Neha Kakkar gave one lakh rupees to Shantabai Pawar, also known as Warrior Aaji who performed 'Lathi Kathi' on streets of Pune to earn a livelihood and became an Internet sensationPawar had said, "I'm doing it since I was 8. My father taught me to work hard. People mostly remain indoors due to #COVID, so I clang utensil to alert them when I perform." She further said, "By God's grace, I am able to perform at this age and sustain my livelihood. My grandchildren are pursuing their studies and we are happy.

The woman is in her eighties and also said that due to her age she is facing trouble doing the Lathi Kathi act.

She shared her story during an appearance on the show "Indian Idol", which has Neha as one of the judges.

Inspired by her, Neha offered Rs 1 lakh to Pawar, to support her for good work.
