The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has issued a summons to Rakhi Sawant and asked her to appear before the police on February 27 to record her statement. On February 24, Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahabadia are scheduled to do the same. Samay Raina requested an extension until March 17, but Maharashtra Cyber has denied the request, according to Yashasvi Yadav, IG of Maharashtra Cyber.

Maharashtra Cyber Cell has sent a summons for Rakhi Sawant. "Rakhi Sawant has been called by Maharashtra Cyber ​​to record her statement on February 27," reported the news agency ANI on Friday.

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia moved to the Supreme Court on Friday following multiple FIRs filed against him in various states last week over his controversial comment on comedian Samay Raina’s show “India’s Got Latent.” The YouTuber seeks the intervention of the Supreme Court of India to club the multiple FIRs filed against him.

While Rakhi Sawant was not a panellist on the episode Ranveer Allahbadia appeared in. Rakhi Sawant has previously been a guest in once of the episodes of the show created by comedian Samay Raina.

"FIR has been registered against all members who played roles in all episodes of the show. Authorities had ordered the removal of all videos under investigation and mandated the deactivation of the show's account until the inquiry concludes. Cyber officials initially took down the first controversial video and later directed comedian Samay Raina to remove all content related to the case," G Yashasvi Yadav said, reported Hindustan Times.
