Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, widely regarded as one of the industry’s most enterprising producer-actor couples, continue to expand their creative vision through their banner Dreamiyata Entertainment. Over the years, the production house has steadily carved a space for itself with rooted storytelling and audience connect driven content. Now, in what marks the first time the duo has spoken about such a large scale move for their banner, Dreamiyata is preparing for an ambitious Pan India Punjabi film with Sargun Mehta leading the project.

In a recent interview with a leading publication, Ravie Dubey offered fans their first real glimpse into the film and shared how the idea grew into a much bigger cinematic plan than initially imagined.

Ravie said, “It's a little bit zipped up right now but what I can tell you it's a film that comes out of Punjab with Sargun being the protagonist of the film, but it is a Pan India film. So we're very very excited about it. I mean we're extremely excited about it.”

Elaborating on the vision behind the project, he explained that the team wants to explore a genre they believe has not yet been fully explored across the country.

“Our intention is, and we also feel, that this genre is an untapped genre. Not just in Punjab but in many parts of India as well.

So we want to bring this out and we have the beats in mind. We are fleshing out the script and we are fairly ahead in that journey as well. It’s seeming very, very exciting.

We have started developing assets. We have started developing music. We are doing all those things. I mean, it just keeps us up at night. We are really having a ball.”

2025 has been a milestone year for Dreamiyata. As producers, the duo delivered the highest-grossing Punjabi film of the year, Saukhan Saukhane 2, while Sargun also starred in top performer Sarbala Ji. Their YouTube-first platform, Dreamiyata Drama, continued breaking records with 1.1 billion+ views and 9 billion minutes watched, pioneering India's first long-format original drama ecosystem, and their original track Ve Haaniyaan crossed 700 million+ streams. On television, the banner has delivered hit shows including Udaariyaan, Swaran Ghar, Junooniyatt, Badal Pe Paon Hain, Dalchini, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan, and Tu Juliet Jatt Di. From films to TV to digital, Ravie and Sargun have built one of India's most dynamic production blueprints, making Dreamiyata's Pan India leap feel not just possible, but inevitable.

As Dreamiyata Entertainment prepares to take this significant step forward, the announcement signals a new phase for the banner, even as Ravie Dubey simultaneously steps into the epic world of mythology with his portrayal of Lakshman, marking an especially exciting time for the actor-producer and the production house alike.
