Last month, she was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. She was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as her condition was serious. Earlier, Elroy Fernandez, Jacqueline's father, was seen outside the hospital. Jacqueline's mother had a heart stroke and was admitted. In the intensive care unit, Kim was recuperating. Jacqueline has been seen going to the hospital to see her mother in recent weeks. Because her mother wasn't feeling well, Jacqueline didn't attend the IPL ceremony in Guwahati last month.
Sharing the news on its X handle, Team Jacqueline Fernandez posted, “Official Notice: It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Kim Fernandez, Jackie's beloved mother. She has left us too soon, and our hearts go out to Jackie and her family during this incredibly difficult time. May her soul rest in peace!”
