Los Angeles, Aug 11 Actress Jamie Lee Curtis has heaped praise on her Freakier Friday co-star Lindsay Lohan and said that she taught her about ‘perseverance’.
The 66-year-old actress has reunited with Lindsay for Freakier Friday, the sequel to their 2003 comedy movie Freaky Friday, and Lee Cutis has taken to social media to heap praise on her co-star.
Her Instagram post featured a quote from Lindsay in which she praises her co-star.
The caption read: "Jamie was with me at a time in my life when I was going through a lot publicly …I have to feel safe around people. And Jamie is one of those people for me."
In response to the quote, Jamie wrote in the caption: "And SHE taught me about perseverance, solitude, style, family and Bitmoji! (sic)"
Lohan and Lee Curtis have repeatedly praised each other throughout the Freakier Friday press tour.
The veteran star recently admitted that she felt "tremendous maternal care" for Lohan after they starred together in Freaky Friday, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The Hollywood star told the Guardian newspaper: "I felt tremendous maternal care for Lindsay after the first movie, and continued to feel that. When she’d come to Los Angeles, I would see her. She and I have remained friends, and now we’re sort of colleagues.”
“I feel less maternal towards her because she’s a mommy now herself and doesn’t need my maternal care, and has, obviously, a mom – Dina’s a terrific grandma."
Lee Curtis also said that Lohan doesn't need any life advice from her.
The movie star said: "I’m bossy, very bossy, but I try to mind my own business. She doesn’t need my advice. She’s a fully functioning, smart woman, creative person. Privately, she’s asked me questions, but nothing that’s more than an older friend you might ask."
She has been through lots of high-profile ups and downs in her life, but she recently claimed that she's now "wiser" and more "settled" than ever before.
The 39-year-old actress told People: "I’m at ease in my life because I’ve lived, I feel like, such a long life at such a young age. I feel wiser now and very settled. I’ve become such a positive person."
