Janhvi Kapoor to make her Telugu debut opposite Vijay Devarakonda?

Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor is slowly and steadily rising among the ranks as one of the most dependable actresses of B-town. As per reports the young diva is all set for her Telugu debut opposite Vijay Deverakonda in 'Fighter.' The movie will be directed by Puri Jagannadh and will be produced by Karan Johar who launched Janhvi in Bollywood opposite Ishan Khattar. 

A lot of actresses were approached for the role including the likes of Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday but things did not materialise. The dates of Janhvi are currently being worked upon and if all goes well she might start shooting for the project from February. However no confirmation has been made yet. On the work front Vijay is currentky shooting for 'World Famous Lover.' Meanwhile, Janhvi has a lot of interesting projects lined up for release which includes the netflix starrer Ghost Stories, Sharan Sharma's Gunjan Saxena and Dostana 2.
