The teaser of Nagraj Popatlal Manjule's much awaited film 'Jhund' is finally out and going by the looks of it the movie promises to be a total entertainer. The teaser begins with a blacked-screen, with the sound of a shutter being opened and metal clanking on the floor. The camera then introduces a group of youngsters who are seen charging forth inside a market alleyway with cricket bats, metal chains, metal rods, sticks, and stones in their hand. However, the highlight of the teaser is Amitabh Bachchan's voiceover which steals the show.

The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, a Nagpur based retired sports professor, who pioneered slum football. With his efforts, Barse, managed to rehabilitate street kids by keeping them off drugs and crime turning them into football players and eventually building a whole team. The film is the debut of director Nagraj Manjule of Sairat fame. Sairat's lead actor's Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar are also part of the film which releases on May 8th. Abhishek Bachchan expressed his excitement about the film as he unveiled the teaser on his Twitter.  Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni & Meenu Aroraa under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Film Entertainment & Aatpat.
