Los Angeles, Dec 29 Grammy-winner John Legend enjoyed a messy birthday with his better half, Chrissy Teigen, and their four children.

The singer, who turned 47 on Sunday, decided to take a trip to the Sloomoo Institute — a slime experience in New York City with his family on his special day.

Teigen took to her official Instagram account and uploaded a video of the fun birthday celebration.

The clip showed Legend having a great time with their kids - daughters Luna Simone and Esti Maxine, and sons Miles Theodore and Wren Alexander.

"One last thing before we leave nyc... we love you @sloomooinstitute! (sic)" Teigen captioned the post.

She added, "Love, Chroostoonoo, Joohn, Loonoo, Mooloos, Oostoo and Wroon."

Teigen never misses a chance to make her hubby feel special on his birthday with her sweet messages on social media.

The family has been making the most of the holiday season. Along with unwrapping the presents together during Christmas, they also had a blast at the Disney on Ice at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Dec. 20.

The family of six was seen posing alongside Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse during the event with huge smiles on their faces.

Legend and Teigen have been married since 2013.

The singer believes that mutual "support" is the key to his successful marriage. Despite going through several ups and downs, the couple has remained as strong as ever.

When asked what's been key in their marriage during an interaction with Us Weekly, Legend shared, "Just support each other and love each other. Have each other’s back. We’ve been through it all together — so much joy, but also pain and challenge and grief."

"I think knowing that we have each other’s back and support each other through it all is — you know, when you have that as your foundation, it’s everything," he added.
