Kanagasbai brother of Tamil actor Anandaraj has reportedly committed suicide at his Pondicherry home. Kanagasabai who was based in Pondicherry had been bidding money for political figures and businessmen. He is reportedly said to have received credit for the bid and was depressed due to a debt of up to Rs 50 crore. As per Kanagasabai’s suicide note, all the stress made him resort to suicide by consuming poison at his home yesterday.
After the police was alerted about the same, the man’s body was seized and sent for autopsy. The suicide letter found at his residence had a mention of the monetary losses he faced as the bidders had been constantly asking for their money and threatening him, which was why he decided to commit suicide. Kanagasabai's suicide letter also has the names of several political figures from Pondicherry and police are investigating the matter.
