Kara Box Office Collection Day 4: Kara, starring Dhanush, continued its theatrical run on Day 4 of its release. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Vignesh Raja-directed heist-action thriller collected Rs 5.00 crore net on its fourth day (first Sunday), after earning Rs 5.20 crore on Day 3, Rs 6.95 crore on Day 2 and Rs 6.20 crore on Day 1.
The film recorded its Day 4 collection across 3,634 shows with an overall occupancy of around 26.1%. The Tamil version contributed Rs 4.20 crore with an occupancy of about 29% across 2,482 shows, while the Telugu version collected Rs 0.80 crore from 1,152 shows with approximately 20% occupancy.
With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 23.35 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 26.99 crore after four days. Overseas, the film added Rs 1.50 crore on Day 4, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 9.15 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 36.14 crore.
Despite a slight dip over the weekend, the film continues to maintain a steady run at the box office and has crossed the Rs 35 crore mark globally.
Produced by Vels Film International in collaboration with Think Studios, the film features an ensemble cast including Mamitha Baiju, K. S. Ravikumar, Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sreeja Ravi in key roles.
Set in 1991 in Ramanathapuram against the backdrop of the Gulf War, the film follows Karasaami as he navigates personal conflicts amid a heist-driven narrative. The film’s music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Theni Eswar.
