Karan Johar denies reports of Brahmastra cast taking pay cuts due to coronavirus pandemic

Ace filmmaker Karan Johar and Dharma Productions head honcho Karan Johar in a Twitter statement has rubbished reports of his cast taking paycuts for  Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Brahmastra.'  Speculations are rife that the entire cast  has volunteered for pay cuts including director Ayan Mukerji . However Karan Johar who is the producer of the film denied all such reports. 

Taking to his Twitter account, Kjo wrote, “My hugest request to my media friends not to reach any assumptions on our fraternity films...these are challenging times for the business and false news only makes the situation worse! Please wait for official news on any account!! This is a humble request." 

Meanwhile, the shooting of the film is yet to be completed and considering the current situation, it will not start anytime soon. Since the film is high on VFX, the major chunk is yet to be edited.Directed by Ayan, the film also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. It will also feature Shah Rukh Khan in a special role. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Dimple Kapadia will also be seen in the film in cameo appearance.
