In recent interview Paras Chhabra, Karan shared that he has left non-veg and has shifted towards spirituality. Following this interview many interpreted that Karan has quit acting and now focusing on spirituality.
While sharing fake Instagram post claiming he has quit acting, Karan stated, "Being spiritual doesn't mean I have to leave my work. Please don't spread rumours for the sake of virality. Request to the concerned person to remove this post and not spread lies. Thank you."

Karan added "I never thought I would become a vegetarian, but now, after wearing the Kanthi mala, everything feels very peaceful."
