Actor Kareena Kapoor and her young son Taimur left Mumbai a day ahead of Diwali. Kareena earlier said that she with husband Saif Ali Khan and their son Taimur would ring in the fetival of lights in Dharamshala. In the pictures online, Kareena was spotted dressed casually in black leggings, ankle high books and sweatshirt. Taimur had a blue jeans with a black and white full sleeves shirt. She is expecting her second child with Saif. Every year, Kareena and Saif make frequent trips to London or Switzerland but because of the pandemic, travel plans had to be put on hold and now Dharamshala seems to be the perfect choice.

When asked about how exactly they will ring in Diwali in the hills, Kareena said: "We plan to keep it very quiet and spend as much time in the open as we can. It's obviously not going to be a big Diwali, and I am very happy with that, I would rather have it small this year."Kareena is in her second trimester of pregnancy. On the work front, Kareena will be seen next on the big screen in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which stars Aamir Khan in the eponymous role. The film is an adaptation of the critically-acclaimed Hollywood film Forrest Gump and is scheduled for a Christmas 2021 release. Saif is currently in Dharamshala shooting for Bhoot Police.
