Dilwale co-stars Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan have wrapped up the shooting of their upcoming horror comedy film, Bhediya. The actors took to Instagram to inform their fans about the same and shared the motion poster of the film. Kriti expressed her excitement on being a part of the film. She also penned a special note for director Amar Kaushik and co-actor Varun Dhawan. The Heropanti star thanked Varun for being a 'crazy entertainer' during the shoot. She also thanked Abhishek and Amar for the film. In her note, Kriti wrote, "It's a film wrap for team #Bhediya! Releasing in theatres on 14th April, 2022. My First Horror Comedy! Varun Dhawan announced that he has completed Bhediya shoot on July 9. Sharing some photos from his last day on the film’s set, he wrote a long note about being a part of the film. He also wrote that he will be bidding adieu to his long hair and beard that he had maintained for his character in Bhediya. Varun wrote, “Last day. Filming our last key scenes on #BHEDIYA in the next 24 hrs. Since we are not allowed to put out any stills from the film, this was the last time I starred in the mirror and kinda had to say it’s time to say goodbye to my long hair, beard and the changes my director @amarkaushik has made me make for this character. Although something tells me this is not the end but a new beginning (sic).”Bhediya is the third horror-comedy film backed by Maddock Films. Earlier, the production house bankrolled Stree and Roohi. Bhediya has been shot in the picturesque location of Arunachal Pradesh and second schedule in Mumbai with all the safety precautions and a controlled environment. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy is written by the National Award winner, Niren Bhatt, and is slated to release in cinemas on April 14, 2022.
