Taapsee Pannu was awarded most stylish icon of the year at Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2019 during the recent award ceremony held in Mumbai. Taapsee made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Since then, she has appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films such as Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju and Mr. Perfect. Her Tamil film Aadukalam won six National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards. The former beauty queen is also slated to star in in Rahul Dholakia's biographical sports film Shabaash Mithu. The ace actress will be essaying the role of female cricketer Mithali Raj. Taking to her Instagram the actress posted a fun picture on her micro-blogging site from the award function thanking the Lokmat family for the recognition.
