On January 26, 1950 the Indian Constitution came into effect which declared India a republic. To commemorate this important date, every year January 26 is celebrated as the Republic Day. This year it is the 72nd Republic Day of the country and the celebrations are a bit different from the previous years. Keeping in mind, the spread of the virus, necessary measures have been taken to ensure a safe environment for the celebrations and some events have been cancelled too. Among the celebs who enjoyed the parade at home, Shahid Kapoor's wife, Mira Rajput also watched it with her kids Misha and Zain. The star wife expressed pride in passing down the tradition of watching the annual parade at home to her kids.
Taking to her Instagram story, Mira shared a photo of the parade on TV as she expressed her thoughts and feelings on Republic Day. She expressed that feels good about passing on the tradition to her kids in a note. Sharing the photo, Mira wrote, "Watching the Republic Day Parade with the kids my heart fills with pride. Passing down Pride & Patriotism." With it, she shared the tricolor flag and wished fans on the occasion. Meanwhile, Mira recently returned from Goa with hubby Shahid Kapoor after spending a few days. Mira had shared stunning pictures of herself from their recent Goa vacation. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Mira wrote in the caption, "Look for the magic in every moment." While the first picture showed her looking at the sea and away from the camera, the second picture is a close-up of her looking at the lens. Mira and Shahid had flown to Goa after the actor wrapped up the shooting of his film, Jersey.
