After the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, his actress girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been facing a plethora of charges including money laundering. Now according to a report published in NDTV, money from two of the four bank accounts belonging to actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been transferred to his friend, Rhea Chakraborty. The report also states that the late actor, had accounts in Kotak Mahindra bank, HDFC and Standard Chartered. Money from the biggest account in Kotak and HDFC has been transferred to Rhea Chakraborty.
Rhea Chakraborty and her family have two properties in Mumbai's prime location, which were recently purchased. The agency has asked her to show the documents of these properties. The sources close to Sushant has said that, the late actor had a small farm house at Pavani, located on the outskirts of Mumbai. He also had an apartment in Goregaon near Mumbai. The actor, who had two cars, was also paying off a car loan as well.
Rhea today arrived at the Enforcement Directorate office in Mumbai for questioning in the Sushant Singh Rajput investigation after her request to put it off was rejected by the agency. She was seen arriving minutes after the Enforcement Directorate's deadline of 11.30 AM. Rhea Chakraborty had asked for her questioning to be deferred citing an ongoing Supreme Court hearing on her petition which was rejected by the ED. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence on June 14. It is alleged that the actor committed suicide and was suffering from depression.
