The second Sunday of May is observed as Mother's day to celebrate and honour the spirit of motherhood. Today on the special day, a number celebs took to their social media and expressed their love for their mommy dearest. From Riddhima Kapoor Sahni to mommy-to-be Dia Mirza many took to social media and shared some of their best memories. Mommy-to-be Dia also honoured the leading ladies in her life in her note that read, "Happy Mother’s Day to our precious Mothers. Our nurturers, providers of limitless and free of judgment love, sponges of our pain and sorrow, carriers of our hearts, our best cheerleaders, our guiding angels and everything else no one can or ever will be to us."

She adopted her elder daughter Renee in 2000 and her second girl, Alisah, in 2010.
