Munawar Faruqui, has now ventured into acting with his debut web series, First Copy. Munawar unveiled the teaser of his highly anticipated show First Copy, giving his fans the perfect Eidi. With a completely new avatar, the excitement surrounding his acting debut is already soaring! Set in the vibrant yet gritty 1990s Mumbai, First Copy follows Arif (played by Munawar), who hustles by selling black-market movie CDs. The retro vibe and the mix of Bollywood charm with the dark world of piracy make it an interesting watch. The story promises unexpected twists and turns that will keep viewers hooked. Joining Munawar is a stellar cast including Gulshan Grover, Krystle D'Souza, Saqib Ayub, Ashi Singh, Meiyang Chang, Inam Ul Haq, and Raza Murad. The combination of such diverse talent is sure to add layers to the thrilling storyline.
