Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 19 : Music composer Jatin Pandit talked about his upcoming single ‘Waqt’ and what made him write and compose the latest track. The song is sung by Raahul Jatin.
He said, “When I made Waqt, I liked the feel of the lyrics, 'Tere sath jitna bhi waqt guzaaru kam hi lage main jitna niharu' so I kept following the path and composed the song! When I wanted to record and use the song, Raahul took the lead and recorded the song and made me hear it and the song really appealed to me. His voice has so much freshness and newness- in a breathtaking way! So I wanted to use his voice and give the song an all-new colour.”
Jatin Pandit, who has worked with singers and musicians from the industry, added, "The singers of my generation have reached a seniority level. All of them have done an amazing job but now a new generation of artists has come. The best path is to use your experience and talent to motivate emerging artists and bring newness to your songs. That is the reason I made Raahul sing Waqt. He sang the song well and I love the freshness of his voice".
Talking about ‘Waqt’, Raahul shared, "There is such purity in the composition and lyrics. The very first line of the song touches you. The thought itself is so beautiful that for me as a singer it was my job to bring that emotion and feel in my vocal performance and I did my best. The beauty of this song undoubtedly is the lyrics and the melody".
‘Waqt’ is slated to release on August 23.
