In a new development actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been served with a legal notice by his wife Aaliya Siddiqui, wherein she has demanded divorce and maintenance over issues in their married life. According to a report published in Zee News, Aaliya confirmed that her married life with Nawazuddin was not on the right track and that there were “serious” problems between the two of them.  

For the unversed, Nawazuddin and Aaliya have been married for nearly 10 years. Aaliya has alleged that there have been problems in her marriage for many years now mainly due to Nawazuddin and his brother and that she always kept them under the wraps. However, this time his wife has sought to end her decade long marriage. The notice was sent to Nawazuddin on May 7 but the actor is yet to respond to it. In a video message shared with the aforementioned news channel, Aaliya’s lawyer confirmed that he had sent a notice to Nawazuddin on behalf of his client Aaliya Siddiqui. Nawaz is currently in his hometown with his family and is under quarantine for coronavirus but his tests have come out negative.
