Actor Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is stepping into an exciting new phase of her career as she returns to long-format storytelling with her OTT debut Ab Hoga Hisaab. After making her presence felt in films, Nimrit is back on set for a full-fledged series, marking a significant transition in her creative journey. The show brings her back to a format she knows well, yet approaches with a renewed perspective shaped by her recent experiences across mediums.

For Nimrit, the shift back to a longer-format narrative has been both nostalgic and creatively fulfilling. She believes that long-format storytelling allows actors the space to explore characters in greater depth, offering time to process emotions, motivations, and story arcs more organically.

Talking about returning to sets with Ab Hoga Hisaab, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia shared in a detailed note, “Getting back on a longer-format set honestly felt a little unreal at first. After working on films, returning to a space where the story unfolds over time brings back a different kind of excitement. Long-format shows give you the time to really sit with your character, understand their layers, and grow with them. You’re not rushing from one emotional beat to another - instead, you get to process things more deeply, both for yourself and for the story.”

She further added, “What I truly enjoy about a series like Ab Hoga Hisaab is the room it gives you to play. You can explore silences, contradictions, and emotional shifts in a much more detailed way. As an actor, that space is very valuable because it helps you build a stronger relationship with your character and the script. Being back on set for a long-format show reminded me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place. It’s demanding, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.”

With Ab Hoga Hisaab, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia continues to evolve as a performer, seamlessly navigating different formats while embracing the creative freedom that long-form narratives offer. The series marks a significant milestone as her OTT debut and signals an exciting chapter ahead in her acting journey.
